Who knows? You cannot change the past, and we can't predict the future. Life is full of choices, and we all make some that we regret. I will remember Brodie Croyle as one of BAMA's greatest qbs, and the one who led the Tide back out of the dark shadows of probation.

And their defense continues to come around. This would be no easy win. In fact, I'd guess Tech would be favored.

The barn and LSU. Georgia is close, though. They would have beaten Florida with Shockley and the barn just barely beat them. Alabama is no better than 4th, as much as it pains me to say it.

As for the question, we did not run the triple option last year. We lined up in the wishbone formation and ran a dive play with Prothro vs. Auburn. I don't know when the last time was that BAMA ran a triple option play. That is, where the qb fakes to the fullback, pulls the ball down the line...

Tennessee, the "3rd Saturday in October" has always been my favorite. It has been tarnished, however, I still want Alabama to beat Tennessee more than any other opponent. The Iron Bowl is right up there, but not quite as intense for me.

And another thing is, the public only sees when a program has committed violations and is put on probation. They don't take the time to research the facts. Some of the ncaa's rules are the stupidest non sense.

Jealousy, plain and simple. Texas A&M was put on probation when Coach Bryant was there. He didn't know it was against the rules for players to be paid. (The ncaa wasn't anywhere near the organization then that it is now.) He said in books later on that it was the most embarrassing moment in...

The 1925 team allowed only 7 points the entire regular season - to Birmingham Southern in the second game of the year. They pitched 8 straight shutouts. They went on to beat Washington in the Rose Bowl, 20-19.
