LGBTQ Issues (Part 3)

The hypocrisy from many on the left regarding gay and women’s rights in certain Muslim countries is both despicable and inexcusable. They should be just as quick to condemn those policies and individuals as they are to denounce right-wing Christians and other intolerant bigots.

I never understood the concept of government-approved marriage. The only legitimate interest I can see is not letting children marry. But, between consenting adults, who cares?

Me neither, but there is a very vocal and powerful group in our body politic that seeks to keep government's thumb on things like marriage(and who can marry), reproductive health/freedom, what books we can read, etc.

Maybe the manginas can compete against one another. But what do I know?

I'm not sure why there can't be a trans category for individual sporting events as needed. Sports like swimming and track and field should be able to accommodate this without too much trouble, I would think. Give the trans athletes the opportunity to participate in athletics without infringing on women's spaces. More people benefit; no one loses out.

There you go again making sense. Don't you know that's not allowed? The issue really is in how sports are viewed by different segments of society and it's why there will never likely be consensus. You have the liberals who look at sports as simply an activity we can all do together and the concept of being able to play/compete with whomever you want is what is the most important. An all aspects of their life they want to be women (I am only taking about male to female) and they feel it is their right to be able to compete against other women. Everything else is secondary, even any concept of fairness is trumped by their desire to be a woman in all aspects of their life. Then you have the athletes view of sports. Yes, they want to compete against their own sex but fairness is the most important aspect of sports to them. What's the point of competing if there is a segment of society that can deny the biological advantages of being born a male and then transition into something else merely by fiat.

I am a purist when it comes to sports. Yes, sports are good for your health and mental well-being but the competitions have to be fair to reap the full benefits. Men competing against women is just not fair, from a competitive viewpoint. There is no denying it and the scientific evidence is overwhelming. So, the question you have to ask yourself what is more important, sports being pure competition where the best rise to the top or is competing against whoever you wish, competitiveness be damned, the right answer?

JUST IN: Parents are SUING a Colorado school after their 11-year-old daughter was FORCED to share a bed with a biological male, without even telling the parents

That is absolutely DISGUSTING and INFURIATING. Transgenderism has gone way too far.

"Putting that person into a sex segregated bed with a girl is just completely UNACCEPTABLE."

"A young girl who's on an overnight school trip, who finds out in the moment that not only is she sharing a room with someone with male genitalia, she is in a bed with that person!"

"And the parents aren't told about any of this. I mean, that is wild."

"You can have different views on trans adults and say everyone should be treated with dignity, et cetera. These are kids! This is a school setting! This is absolutely insane."

"I have no idea who would defend this or how. I think no comment from the school is not gonna cut it. Certainly in response to a lawsuit that they have quite clearly invited and brought on themselves."

"And by the way, if you wanna have some sort of accommodation for a student who identifies as trans at that age, I think you can probably get that person his or her own room." -

I keep saying that at some point, somebody is gonna get killed over this stuff and the more I think about it, the more I think our social justice warriors want that for the increase in political capital. These people are sick in the head and the fact that they are exploiting children for this sort of thing only makes it even more outrageous.

Careful, you'll be called transphobic.

LOL, I'm sure. Have you ever noticed that holding people to a higher standard will always result in you being called phobic about something? People will do almost anything to justify their terrible behavior and making matters even more difficult is when the "I feel your pain" SJWs enable them by telling them they are fine exactly the way they are. These virtue-signaling asswipes are literally accomplices in holding them back as a demographic and I would be furious about it if I was a victim of this stupidity. The tweet I posted the other day of the young black girl talking to the "white saviors" out there summed it up perfectly.

Rant On [Off]

Okay, I feel better now.

so this "outrage" was already 2 years old and was full of crap. who could imagine... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

i would like to say i'm surprised, but trans phobia panic is going to trans phobia panic

There are layers to the story that are difficult discussions indeed, but the headlines were all "girl forced to sleep with boy..." And fundamentally false.

Those with an agenda to push are happy to spread misleading and outright false information in order to grab headlines and put the opposition on the defensive. The fact that actual human beings are involved and might be hurt is irrelevant.
