The prime time game on Dec. 20 is James Madison at Oregon.

That's ridiculous, I'm sorry, its absurd.

They put the Miami at ATM game as an 11am kickoff on Dec. 20. This obviously should have been the prime time game.

Ours is prime time Friday night on Dec. 19.

What would be stupid is if Oregon and Ole Miss who basically got bye weeks, to prepare like they have bye weeks.

Strength of Schedule and Strength of Record should be the major considerations.

There should be no conference championship games. I know there's a lot of money involved, But hey, I'm tilting at windmills on this point anyway. In for a penny, in for a pound.

There should be no Tuesday night broadcast of the latest iteration of the committee's sausage-making process.

The field should be announced the Tuesday after Rivalry Saturday -- similar to how the NCAA announces the Basketball Tournament field, only 12 teams rather than 68.

I can't believe I just advocated for something the NCAA does, but that's an indication of how dysfunctional the CFB playoff process is.

This isn’t surprising at all. The two best games are UA vs OK and TAMU vs UM. They are getting the primetime spot on Friday and the one slot on Saturday not competing with the NFL.

They know the other two games won’t draw as many viewers so they put them up against the NFL. It’s a smart move.
