they didn’t even hesitate to roll over and show their bellies
You're trying so hard, it's funny. No person is illegal. That's simply not a thing. Although it has always been in vogue to treat some kids as somewhere between super important to worthless due to the circumstances of their birth. That's one of the reasons the first sentence of the Declaration of Independence was written.
Most of Europe has open borders, and I've ridden a bicycle right through the Slovenia to Croatia border. The United States has open borders between all states. It's really just a political construct of which border you want to be open and which one you want to be closed. Should we start closing borders between states now, and if so, explain? That was kind of tried back in the 1800s. It didn't go so well as I recall.
So some people ARE illegal? You're trying so hard, it's funny.
Borders have existed since humans first walked the earth.
Some people are illegally where they shouldn't be, yes.So some people ARE illegal?
I challenge you to find a single place where I've suggested anything like this straw man.And all borders should always be closed?
Of course I can. It's as simple as illegally entering a country. Not sure how this is complicated for you to understand - it's a concept that's literally been around all of recorded history. It's not me that is trying hard, I'm just trying to understand how someone becomes illegal. But you won't answer that because it makes no sense and you can't.
I'm on record saying they should go after employers as vigorously as the illegals. And also why crappy border policy dictates roving under-trained and trigger happy officials attacking citizens (who lack any other reasonable means to update/fix our border and immigration policies) and otherwise good and hard working people yet not the businesses and business owners that employ the undocumented immigrants for decades. To me, it's the same, some people matter, some people don't crap we humans seem to be stuck in since the beginning of time.
I'm not the one who cannot comprehend borders, so....But sure, I'm trying too hard; however, I say you're not thinking hard enough.
