BREAKING Dabo incriminates Golding in tampering of former Clemson LB Ferrelli who switched commitment ... says Golding texted the player "What's your buyout?"

Here’s the thing about Dabo:

He’s a two faced whiny unlikeable hypocrite.

He got his coaching career started by literally being one of Dubose’s Bag men going around doing the whole $100 handshake deal trying to entice HS kids to come to Alabama.

So he’s completely fine with rule breaking and shady dealings with money when it’s a benefit to his career.

It doesn’t even have to be about money for him to cheat.

He threw an absolute mind melting crybaby tantrum in the 2016 NCG because we perfectly excuted a legal onside kick.

He then the next year runs a walkoff illegal pick play to steal the NC and has the audacity to cheekily call it ‘a little ole rub route’.

I detest him on a personal level and hope he never wins another game and that the Portal and NIL completely disintegrates what’s left of his Career.

Dabo can eat dirt.

The portal is getting an auctioneer addon, with the help of ChatGPT:

Ladiesandgentlemenwhat’ll-ya-gimme - step right up, once-in-a-generation talent, million-dollar arm, diamond feet, ice-cold nerves, who wants greatness—do I hear nine-fifty, nine-fifty on the left, now a million, ONE million, worth every penny and then some—no baggage, all upside, jersey sales included—going once, going twice, don’t blink, don’t think—SOLD to the bold bidder in the front row, welcome to the big leagues

The problem with NCAA tampering rules is that the way they are structured they are basically unenforceable. Schools are prohibited from contacting players from other teams unless the player reaches out to them first. That “reach out” is what they really cannot prove or disprove because it’s not structured or defined. In a CFB player world where everyone is connected by far fewer than 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon a “reach out” can be construed from a friend of a friend saying that player “has an interest in transferring here”. At that point, the player has reached out and the school says “prove it” if they get called on it. NCAA doesn’t have the stones to do anything about it.
Unfortunately this is true.

I agree with your overall diagnosis of good ole Dabo, but he is right about the state of college football. He just isn’t the best messenger for spotlighting the issue for many of us. I listened to his entire press conference and than was some shady stuff. I’m sure he’s telling the truth other wise he is opening himself up to defamation doing it that publicly.

But honest question here, outside of publicly saying all this in front of the media, how would anything be done? We know if just reported to the NCAA, nothing would be done. Now the public knows.

I have to believe most people know that tampering is rampant, whether or not coaches call it out. Since the NCAA has so far shown they don't care, it basically comes down to the people complaining being those who are losing players and/or not bringing in ones they want.

Yeah we know it’s going on. Till someone gets called out for it then it’s just a rumor. Thats why I wanted Ty to name who was offering him money to get in the portal. This needs to happen to bring public attention to it.

I think what he did was fine, good even. I was just commenting on the fact he’s not the right messenger of the problem for some. I’m certain he’s telling the truth.
