That's entirely it. He's doing it as a political stunt for his base (and distract from the Epstein files). There is a largish slice of the population which really supports masked thugs killing "woke" people. Probably fantasize doing it themselves. They are a minority, but not as much as I believed. The Republicans in congress have signed on with either supporting ICE methods or keeping their mouths shut. The midterms will tell us a lot...
