Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) (part II)

This is Jocelyn Nungaray.

She was r*ped and strangled to death by two illegal aliens.

She was only 12 years old.

Jocelyn is why I support ICE.

United States Border Patrol apprehended Johan José Martínez-Rangel near El Paso on March 14, 2024 but he was released the same day, on an order of release on recognizance, with a notice to appear in court at a later date. U.S. Border Patrol arrested Franklin José Peña Ramos on May 28, 2024, also near El Paso, but he was also released with a notice to appear in court at a later date.
One little violent felony and people want them out of the country. We fought the Revolutionary War to throw off this kind of tyranny.

Short video this week from the Economist on US immigration over time. I am quite sure there will be different viewpoints on this. The main point is an economic one which is inescapable imo.

Mike Johnson Wants To Spare ICE the Hassle of Getting the Right Warrant Before Forcibly Entering a Home

Here's a quick reminder of what the Fourth Amendment has to say about that.

"Imagine if we had to go through the process of getting a judicial warrant."

Those are the complaining words of Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R–La.), who was voicing his support for the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which now claims that its agents have the right to forcibly enter private homes without first obtaining a warrant signed by a judge. According to ICE, its agents may forcibly enter homes in certain immigration enforcement contexts based merely on a so-called "administrative warrant," which is not actually a warrant at all, but is rather just a piece of paper signed by someone in the executive branch.

To fully appreciate the inherent lawlessness of the Johnson view, simply replace the phrase "getting a judicial warrant" with any constitutional requirement that you like in the above-quoted statement. For example:

  • "Imagine if we had to go through the process of guaranteeing freedom of speech."
  • "Imagine if we had to go through the process of respecting the right to keep and bear arms."
  • "Imagine if we had to go through the process of paying just compensation when private property is taken for a public use."
You get the idea.

Immigrant groups have a message for their mostly White allies: Quit blowing the whistle on ICE.

Fox News Digital has reviewed days of messages inside Signal chat rooms that reveal that a new internal feud has erupted inside the anti-ICE protest industry, pitting immigrant-led organizations against predominately White "rapid response" networks that have made whistle-blowing a dramatic part of anti-ICE protests.

In one dismissal, a "rapid responder" in Seattle reported back that "immigrant networks are being weird."

Groups from Seattle to Montgomery County, Md., are telling mostly White "rapid responders" to back off a dynamic described by activists as "White Savior," reminding them they are not cameo actors in an "action movie" against ICE.

This past weekend, the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network — known locally as "WAISN," a Seattle-based, immigrant-led organization, publicly rebuked the practice of whistles, setting off a backlash inside mostly White liberal activist "rapid response" circles.

Protesters are causing a traffic jam in Vinings. Took 30 minutes to go less than 2 miles. I had just hiked 6 miles and had to pee at 4 miles. I hate them all. Then an idiot was blocking the entrance to my complex with their car having a conversation with another idiot. No accident not broke down, just 2 morons that think no one else matters.

The bombs have all been bleeped but feel free to remove if it violates forum policy.

Enraged spandex-clad customers at a Minneapolis CorePower Yoga studio berated staffers for being “complicit” in the federal immigration crackdown during a caught-on-camera clash last weekend — demanding that they immediately condemn ICE.

Video of the clash posted to social media by Heather Anderson, who claims to have been a regular at the location for nearly a decade, shows at least 13 women “spontaneously” facing off against two female staffers inside the studio’s lobby after a Sunday class let out.

never pass up an opportunity to pee in the woods

Here's an idea. ICE/BP needs to re-define their mission, set reasonable limits and controls and we should let them do their jobs. No whistles, no protests, no abuses.

Hundreds gathered Saturday to mark one month since 37-year-old U.S. citizen Renee Nicole Good was shot in the head by an ICE agent during a deportation operation in south Minneapolis. Tensions escalated as demonstrators blocked roads and threw objects, including at an ally's truck mistaken for police—the driver shouted back, 'I'm on your fleeping side!' Hennepin County Sheriff's deputies arrested 42, with State Patrol taking 25 more, amid cries of 'I can't breathe' and charges of unlawful assembly and riot. The clashes highlighted outrage over the Trump administration's Operation Metro Surge, which has led to over 4,000 arrests in Minnesota since December.
