Epstein Files -- Be Careful What You Demand

For all I know MY name might be in the Epstein Files, but I haven't done anything illegal.

Yeah, but here's the thing:

It is so hilarious to watch the right funded news organizations run interference for Clown Boy.

For all I know MY name might be in the Epstein Files, but I haven't done anything illegal. "His name is in the files" all by itself doesn't mean jack squat. It's like the folks who try to deflect on the JFK assassination "oh, his name is in the Warren Report" as if that stated mantra by itself means anything.

And I'm fine with it, if Whoopi had to pay for sex with an underage boy or girl or animal, put her under the jail.

It makes me furious when anyone tries to cover for Trump.

His name is all over the place in the Trumpstein files.

It’s not little incidental mentions either it’s straight up accusations and victim accounts and 3rd parties dialoguing with Epstein about things Trump has done or is accused of doing.

There is stuff in there where the FBI is talking about investigating claims.

Patel is such a freaking liar.

As I’ve said before both he and Bondi should be in jail cells right now for obstruction of justice.

Trump should also be in a cell for obstruction of Justice.

Multiple officials have said he has done specifics things to keep the files from even being released at all.

Buckle up, here we go......

Britain’s former Prince Andrew, brother of King Charles III, has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, police said. The alleged misconduct likely relates to the royal’s time as UK trade envoy before 2011.

• Officers were pictured arriving at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s home at Sandringham, King Charles’s estate in Norfolk, early on Thursday morning. Police said they were searching addresses in Norfolk and Berkshire, where the former prince lived until he left his home at Windsor this month.

• Police had previously said the force was reviewing allegations that a woman was trafficked to the UK by Jeffrey Epstein to have a sexual encounter with Mountbatten-Windsor, and claims he shared sensitive information with the convicted sex offender while serving as the UK’s trade envoy.

It's gonna be interesting to see what suddenly pops up on Trump now that someone powerful has actually been arrested.

Release it."

Another example of the Europeans, particularly the Brits, treating the Epstein fallout a whole lot more seriously than the Americans.

I'm still a bit skeptical that the investigation into the Andrew formerly known as Prince will generate publicly available documents. But then I didn't think TAFKAP v2 would have paid the price he already has.

As much as he deserves it, I also have a hard time picturing him actually going to jail. When's the last time a British royal was jailed for a true criminal offense (as opposed to what was really a competing claim to the throne)? Has it ever happened?

If the British police do get hold of any of the documents, and/or can un-redact the information in them, it could result in some serious collateral damage to others. As selma says, it could get interesting.

Technically he is no longer a royal is he?

True. Guess I should have phrased the question, "When's the last time a royal or former royal was jailed for a true criminal offense (as opposed to what was really a competing claim on the throne).

Or maybe referred to anyone born a royal.

Had to look that one up. He was tried and executed in 1649 mainly for losing the English Civil War to Oliver Cromwell. Secondarily for refusing to renounce what he viewed as the divine right of kings.

Cromwell called it treason. But had the Royalists won, Cromwell himself would have been executed for the same thing.

Yes, as I was fond of telling the Yanks when I lived up in Boston who had some sort of person animus towards the Confederacy, "Well, they were traitors only to the same extent as the ones you now call patriots for rebelling against England. The only difference in a patriot and a traitor is who won the war."

Cromwell was against kings, but put himself in charge and his son succeeded him.

Ever notice how many people are against power and authority when they think they'll never be able to have it? But by God, the moment there's a path for them to be in charge, all of a sudden everything changes for them.

If Bernie Sanders ever managed to fill the public water with enough drugs to get this country to vote him into the White House, those billionaires he rages against would all of a sudden be people he "needs to talk to and understand better how to run the country."

Bloomberg is starting to ask the question, "How has the US political class dodged accountability for involvement with Epstein whereas Europeans haven't?"

Below is an excerpt from Bloomberg's morning email, "Balance of Power"

The shock on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s face as he was pictured being driven away from a police station — on his 66th birthday — captured the mood of panic reverberating through establishment circles worldwide.

Politicians, business leaders, members of academia, and now British royalty have been swept up in the fallout from the Epstein files.

The surprise is that US politics has so far been spared from a similar reckoning, despite known ties to the disgraced financier.

President Donald Trump’s decision to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein seven years after his death in a New York jail cell was made grudgingly.

While being named is no indication of wrongdoing, the trove of documents, emails and pictures has exposed how people in positions of power were not just willing, but extremely keen to associate with Epstein even after his conviction for child sex offenses.

The scandal has swept up current and former politicians from Norway, Sweden, Slovakia, the UK and France. The files also show that Epstein tried to court Vladimir Putin in Russia.

As yet, the US political class is unaffected, despite links going all the way to the president. Trump dismisses his onetime friendship with Epstein, saying they fell out decades ago.

Whether his supporters accept that explanation is another thing.

Trump’s White House is the first truly online presidency, with bizarre AI videos, announcements made on the president’s Truth Social platform, his embrace of right-wing influencers and an administration packed with members who flood Elon Musk’s X with content.

He’s been more than happy to appeal to online conspiracy theorists to help his agenda: Remember Trump’s repetition of falsehoods that Haitian immigrants were eating pets in Springfield, Ohio.

The same base is in an Epstein frenzy, demanding ever more.

With the net tightening, Trump just ordered the release of government documents on aliens.Alan Crawford
