BREAKING Holloway arrested on marijuana charge - 03.16.26

Who/where are you hanging (with) to smell burnt rope??? 😂

There's a time, IIRC, in the fall, that must be skunk mating season and male skunks apparently cross the roads, on a regular basis, for some action, but fail to get to the other side. The whole country at that time of the year smells like weed!

But if you really want to smell it, take a trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica!
Some areas of Amsterdam aren't far behind, Zurich also...

So documents say that they searched the trash cans associated with Holloway’s residence and found marijuana particles (my guess stems and seeds) along with packaging materials. The search was conducted after authorities said they had received “complaints”. However, there are not any specifics as to the complaints as part of the court documents. Holloway’s attorney has already stated that will contest the search as being illegal for this reason.

The Tuscaloosa PD and the Task Force better have solid information from those “complaints” or it could be a problem for them.
It's going to get thrown out.

What makes you think they don't have an " air tight " case; or why they care about the tournament?

As I said, the trash thing always has pitfalls....I restated that for you. The 'evidence' of transactions on his phone, that's been made public, doesn't sound like evidence at all...'I'll catch up with you after the season'? How exactly is that evidence of a drug transaction? The mystery complaints...I had the police stop by my house once because I smoked a cigar...the neighbor smelled something suspicious (I live in a Florida retirement community where neighbors are hyper nosey'. To make matters worse, I smoke a cigar every night and everyone else in the neighborhood knew it...some even join from time to time.

I just think the timing of the arrest has some suspicious odors...smells like east Alabama. It wouldn't be the first time.

His lawyer seems to have some optimism. What makes you think they have an 'air tight' case?

If it gets thrown out in time, I guarantee you Oats will play him, provided UA goes along. You're still innocent in this country until proven guilty. If we get by without him tonight, it sure would be nice if we had him for Michigan...

Even if charges were dropped; He would still have to have a hearing by Student Affairs to get reinstated as a student.
For his sake; I hope he can find a way out of this and come out "Scared Straight". Like the movie we were forced to watch in high school of the tragic results of reckless driving.

This post reminded me of one of my favorite Coach Bryant stories, from an article by Roy Exum a number of years ago about how CPB handled a similar, though not identical situation in a bygone era.

Yes, we disagree means I'm dumb.
Pitiful
Leaders are by judged results of their team, followers, platoon, etc. Just the way it is
You can lead a horse to water but what if it don't drink? Did you lead it to the wrong water or will it just not drink in spite of your best efforts to supply the water.
It isn't always leadership. The followers have to buy in and follow, too.

Some of the victims were his teammates; he put his profit and/or pleasure above his team on the way to compete for a championship. He deserves Nate's support to try to get better, as a person and I commend him for standing by him. But; I would prefer he move on.

Any teammate that knew he was partaking in the activity weren’t victims. Enablers maybe. But definitely not victims.
