You would be surprised. I know a lot of immigrants from former Soviet Union countries. They look back with fondness at the old system. Hell, my late MIL wept openly every year watching the May Day parades. The cult of Stalin - I can never understand. Murderous bastard. But, hey, he beat the Nazis....after getting in bed with them with Molotov-Ribbentropp.
