Tua Now the All Time FBS Single Season Efficiency Leader

After the OU game, Kyler dropped just below 200 to 199.18 Tua improved to 205.19. Making him the only QB in the history of the sport topping 200. I really really really really hope tua puts up good enough numbers to hold on to the record against Clemson! I think he will! Tua is beyond...

    This keeps getting better somehow

When Saban said "this is not the end; this is the beginning", I, like most everyone else around here, thought that was the most exciting sentence i'd ever heard. The thing is, I didnt really believe or understand what it was that that actually meant. If you had told me in Jan 09 when that...

    Thank You Jalen Hurts

Today, in all likelihood, was Jalen's final home game in a crimson jersey. When Jalen came into the game, you could feel the whole stadium realize he was running out at once and everyone went nuts. Then when Waddle turned the corner, I've never heard BDS louder. It was a truly special moment...

    Julio Jones Career Perspective

I know that we all know how great Julio is, but here are a couple stats to put it into perspective. Julio is leading the NFL in receiving this year by a full 10 yards per game. Head and shoulders above the field. 15.5 yards a catch too. Julio Jones is currently leading NFL history in receiving...

    Alabama's Strength of Schedule

Right now. November 17, 2018. Alabama has the number 4 schedule in the country. Feel free to shove that stat in anyone and everyones face for the rest of the year. Good day. https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/ranking/schedule-strength-by-other

Has any Bama DT ever been better than 2018 Quinnen Williams?

Certainly some good ones in my lifetime, but none i would put over williams right now.

    Tua's Unbelievable 3rd Down Efficiency

Tua is 10/10 for 207 and 4 TD's on 3rd down right now for the year. He was 7/7 for 142 and 3 TDs against Arkansas State. Wow.

Tua bomb was the greatest single play in Alabama athletics history.

I've been racking my brain all night and I truly think it's highlight number one in the history of Alabama sports. I've never seen anything like that game. I'm still in disbelief. It's like the exact opposite of how I felt after the 2010 and 2013 iron bowls.

    Amari named SEC offensive POTY!!!!

    Congrats! you deserve it!!!
  10. C

Amari's recruiting ranking in retrospect is kind of funny.

not that he was ranked grossly low. 6 isn't that far from 1. but besides DGB the guys ahead of him didnt even scratch the surface of how good he is.
  11. C

Amari needs 10 catches, 167 yds, and 5 TD's to break all SEC single season records

2-3 games to do it. he has proven that he absolutely can do that. I really hope he does. Tonight was a fun one. stressful for a while, but fun.

iron bowl rankings stat. please tell me i'm wrong

I was thinking about it after reading Jess's preview for the auburn game. He said Bama needs to make a statement against a decent Auburn team. That got me thinking. "When was the last time bama beat an Auburn team ranked in the AP?" I started digging... Obviously Auburn wasnt ranked in 2012...

The Class of 2014 (Bamas national recruiting prominence)

According to 247Composite (a ranking system that uses an aggregate of all the recruiting services), in the class of 2014... Bama got the number 1 and/or 2 player from, Alabama, Arkansas, Virginia, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Minnesota, Oklohoma, South Carolina, and Iowa. Thats insane. 10...

Whats with all the negative AJ comments lately?

I mean... seriously. The guy goes from the best college QB in Alabama history (which he still inarguably is), to a chump because of 4 missed FG's in the auburn game, and a completely irrelevant consolation game against OU. Really? This makes no sense, and I've heard a ton of people bashing him...

To those who think AJ doesn't/won't have "Heisman Numbers"

    Troy smith (the second largest run away heisman winner in history) 2006 stats: 203/311 (65.3%), 2542 yds, 30 TD's, 6 INT's AJ 2012 stats: 211/314 (67.2%), 2933 yds, 30 TD's, 3 INT's

Bama has been ranked #1 5 of the last 6 years on Rivals.com

Think about that.... that is INSANE. The kids we signed yesterday were in the 8th grade the last time Bama didnt sign a top 5 class on rivals.

Is anyone else having problems with a "502 Bad Gateway" Error?

Two different computers, one at work and one at home. Links on the site work about 50% of the time for me.... anybody know whats wrong?

*****The OFFICIAL Coach Nuss Appreciation Thread*****

I've been driving the Nuss bus around here for a while. I would just like to point out that this offense is the greatest and most accomplished offense in the history of Alabama football. We had 2 1.000 yard rushers, a 1,000 yard receiver, and a QB who SHATTERED almost every single season QB...

    Red Zone numbers

Biggest glaring stat I've seen to date about ND Alabama. Alabama is 2nd in red zone defense nationally, and ND is 119th in red zone TD percentage. Thats the difference in the game in my eyes.
  20. C

Ranking the 2012 offense to this point.

Historically at UA, just how good is this offense? Let's say ND stops the run and we're forced to throw the ball around. If AJ has a great day and throws for 331 yards (unlikely but not inconceivable) and Amari gets 105 of those yards (i would say that's likely), then this becomes the first...
