    College Gameday in Athens,GA

Name for me a team of substance that hasn't throttled OSU. If UGA had the opportunity to play them you'd see the same result.

    College Gameday in Athens,GA

Corso will pick UGA, not to worry. They're the pre-season #1 team. The only reason they're not still there is the anti-Southern bias of the media....oh..and the annual droolfest over USC.

    Mississippi State Bull_ogs (No D)

Mississippi State's problem is not their defense. They've got some great talent on defense that plays fast and tough. Their problem is their offense. It's deplorable (caveat**until they play Bama...then they pull out all the stops with an attack that could beat the Patriots). I think Coach...

Beano just can't seem to get it right.

.....and ol' Beano has more chins than a Chinese phonebook. Poor irrelevant guy.

If you could choose an improvement for BDS

In my opinion, we do a pitiful job of attaining a "home field advantage" during the course of a game. There are numerous examples I could cite but the one that sticks in my craw the most is when the game rolls into the fourth quarter. The university always seems to take that opportunity to...

Guess our buddy "Bucket Step" Bob Connelly is in the soup line again.

Ears vs. The Barn - the saga continues, but who will win??

The ironic thing about this buyout is Wingnut and Sexton are the very guys who put it in there. He wanted security after Jetgate and this buyout was put in to protect both sides. Now he's beaten us six consecutive times (no other hardware, mind you......just an exemplary record against a...

Is it likely that our staff will stay intact?

I think they will all remain. As we've all been reminded ad nauseum, we have the highest paid staff in college football. I think CNS has put the "golden handcuffs" on these guys so they wouldn't be distracted from doing anything other than their best (i.e. this 2008 incoming recruiting class)...

    Alabama @ Mercer (Game Thread)

As a general rule, Bama does not guard the perimeter very well, unfortunately.

How's the crowd sound on tv? I cannot hear or see the game here in Copenhagen. I am just refreshing Tidefans constantly!

**OFFICIAL BAMA vs VOLS GAMEDAY THREAD PART I**

Guys, I am stuck over in Copenhagen for work and naturally all I can find at these pubs is soccer, rugby, and cricket. The World Cup finale in rugby is happening along with our game so you can imagine what is on all the televisions. I just wanted to say thanks for the continuous posts. It is...

Do you think this is the way JPW felt last year?

You're right, CapitalTider......I just thought the fark was funny.......particularly considering how reliable our line was last year.

Do you think this is the way JPW felt last year?

Do you think this is the way JPW felt last year?

I found this hilarious pic on an FSU fansite. It depicts the "perceived" FSU offensive line from last year. I thought it was hilarious and appropos.

    Saban's Legend Continues to Grow...Dienhart

Good point, Bamabuzzard. I'm sure Coach Saban's "perception" is coated with intentions of keeping the team focused on the opponent. Remember the worst thing you can ever do as a leader (military, coach, CEO, etc.) is to underestimate your competition. It is my opinion that Coach Saban is...
