Bama Game Thread: Official Postgame Thread - Bama @ Vandy...

We looked like a 8-4 type PAC12 team that has a good offense and plays no defense. Not going to work in SEC country.

BREAKING Kevin Steele hired as DC

Not the guy i was expecting, but i do remember Steele having some pretty good Auburn defenses, even though they weren't loaded with talent.

Deion is on his way to Colorado

He will bring in some talent, but can he even coach? Winning in the SWAC is about like winning at a community college. Is he a smart strategist, that will maximize the players? I have my doubts, but will be curious to see how it goes.

Bama Game Thread: OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD - Bama @ Ole Miss...

Glad to get the win, we were sluggish though, you never know what we'll do on offense, one drive they look great, next drive may be nothing. Up and down team. Ole Miss didn't look that good either, a good RB, thats about it

Will Saban makes changes at the Seasons end??

Pretty sure BOB will be gone, not so sure about PG. I can live with that, even though i want both gone. No reason to run this boring offense that runs the same few plays over and over. BOB looks like he's running an NFL offense from 10 years ago.

Bama Game Thread: OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD - Bama @ LSU...

Maybe it's just BOB and his scheme, but this looks to be a very mediocre group of receivers, i guess i got spoiled watching Julio, Cooper, Jeudy, Smith, Ruggs and Williams. We don't even have a Maze or Kevin Norwood right now, frustrating.

Bama Game Thread: OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD - Bama @ LSU...

Please, something needs to change. All this talent, and mediocre results. The defense is the opposite of clutch, and the offense is just plain hard to watch at times, we seem to run the same 3 to 4 plays over and over. Gibbs outside, RB up the middle and a slow developing pass play...thats...

Link: 2024 5 Star QB Julian Sayin Commits to Alabama

Don't know a whole lot about Sayin yet, but seems like a Ty Simpson type guy? Not real big, needs to feel out his body, good all around athlete with a nice arm.

How ugly will it get in 2023?

Bonds, Earle, Prentice, Brooks...very young but loaded with talent. I guess they are supposed to get worse with more experience?

How ugly will it get in 2023?

If this year ends in a dud, more likely that coordinator and staff changes will be made for next year. And there will be plenty of talent left. The young WRs will grow up some, could be a great group next year. Milroe/Simpson, neither one will likely be Bryce Young level, but they have their...

Bryce Young is a DOG!!! Appreciate his toughness

I still wonder about him in the NFL, probably about 5'11" 195 pounds. Maybe he will bulk up a bit though. As a college player though, one of the best ive seen. So instinctive, quick release, great scrambler and cool under pressure.

Bama Game Thread: OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD - Bama @ Vols...

Whats shocking is the defense was so bad. Receivers running wide open, no pressure on the QB and RBs ripping off 10 yard gains with regularity. We stopped them a few times, but they really rolled over the Bama D for most of the day.

Bama Game Thread: OFFICIAL POSTGAME THREAD - Bama vs. TAMU...

Milroe's throwing mechanics are awful, just doesn't seem like a natural passer at all. Even freshman Jalen Hurts was polished in comparison.

I can't wait until BOB is gone and Milroe is not safe even making basic throws. We can play better than this, but it was ugly tonight.

What is your favorite SECCG vs Georgia

2012 is hard to beat, that was a great game with a dramatic finish that had me jumping out of my seat screaming. But, i do think i enjoyed the 2021 one even more, what a statement game and crushed Georgia fans who thought they had it in the bag.

    Players possibly returning for 2022

Im not so sure Metchie would be a high pick even before the knee problem, he's not real big or fast. Now with a knee recovery going on he could drop. Might make sense for him to come back and put the knee injury behind him.

    How good is Cincy?

They did beat Notre Dame this year, but that was the only legit team on their schedule. And then you have to consider Notre Dame always looks like a paper tiger when they get in a championship or playoff situation, so is beating them that impressive? I guess it shows they can beat a top 10 type...

So Who Are Some of Your Favorites From This Year's Team...

Will " The Terminator" Anderson He reminds me of Lawrence Taylor when he was with the NFL Giants having a HOF career as a disruptive force off the edge. Bryce Young is also right up there, so smooth, so calm, and has such a good, strong arm considering he's probably 5'11" 195 pounds at best...

    How good is Cincy?

Ohio State would probably be favored by at least 10 points if they were facing Cincy in a bowl game. They aren't one of the best 4 teams in the country, but it worked out that they made the playoffs this year. I do think they are a good, top 10 type team though, so we have to show up and play...

Bama Game Thread: OFFICIAL Postgame thread - Bama @ Auburn...

For almost 4 full quarters ,we seemed to make every mistake possible, and couldn't block someones old Grand Mother. But at the last moments, we finally pushed through and went to OT. Brought it home with the win. Will end up being a memorable Iron Bowl, but man that was frustrating.
