#1 was fun while it lasted

It was a close game and early in the season so there is a lot of hope of being back to #1 but... If you think we can run the table in the SEC and we cant even beat a 7-3 Utah team away then thats more than optimistic. The SEC on the road is brutal.

I don't know about #1, but we are definitely a top 10 team and we'll have one helluva season. We will bounce back.

We'll get Winston and Williams eligible in a couple of weeks and they'll help this team especially come tournament time. RTR !!!

Well I cant belive how we played tonight. We nowhere played like a #1 team tonight. And niether did Utah. Thats what was really bad. Anyway rankings dont matter except at the end of the season. Thats when Bama is going to be ranked #1....Lets focus on the SEC because if we think tonight was rough wait till we have to go to the likes of LSU,Miss St, and yes Auburn....RTR

I agree with BAMA ALUM 92 about the sec being brutal on the road, but from what i have seen in the sec, only 1 team really has me concerned, MISS STATE.I may be eating my words later in the year but i cant see the talent or the agression of these sec teams compared to ALA.

I see no reason why Bama can't be #1 again. Plus you say something about us losing to Utah(7-3)...well if I not mistaking Miss St lost to La Lafayette(3-9). & either Bama or Miss St could run the SEC. We will be back, & I credit CMG for scheduling such tough teams to get this team ready come March, when IMO we will be a #1 seed.

!!!ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

Expecting to run the table in the SEC is really unrealistic. We haven't won in a while at Oxford or Starkville, or even at the barn. LSU is a much better team than they were a year ago, and there is the little matter of a trip to Gainesville against a very talented Florida team. Frankly, if we duplicate last year's 12-4 SEC record we will have had an outstanding year.
