With 8 commitments plus the grey shirts from this past class. How many spots does that leave us?
Sam Burnthall DB - 6-2/190 NR Decatur, AL
Evan Cardwell OL - 6-3/298 NR Killen, AL
Chris Felder DB - 5-11/185 NR El Dorado, KS
Baron Huber LB - 6-4/240 NR Knoxville, TN
Michael Johnson OL - 6-7/285 NR Pensacola, FL
Cory Reamer DB - 6-3/200 NR Hoover, AL
Titus Ryan ATH - 6-1/190 NR Decatur, MS
Henry Smith DT - 6-3/310 NR Decatur, MS

Well some of those like Titus Ryan haven't qualified from JUCO and are still on the list, but real actualy commitments we have 5 from HS players and 2 or 3 gray shirts so in all reality that means we have about 8 commitments!!!!

:biga2:

That would be the 2 going to prep school, maybe 3 with McCall. I have not heard yet if he will go to prep or JUCO.

I'm not too concerned about the stars. Shula didn't offer any of these until he saw them in camp. I'm a bit concerned but I have faith. One things for sure, those that have committed, in high school, will not be questionable qualifiers.

Their rankings could go up too after their senior seasons.

On the HS kids we need to remember they haven't played their senior season yet so there is plenty of room for improvement. So many kids take a great leap of improvement from junior to senior years. I have to faith with CMS -- after all he's far more knowledgable than I and he didn't do so bad in 2004.

Shula has a plan for the upcoming recruiting year. He and the rest of the staff did a great job with juggling this last class. So, lets not worry too much at this time. Also take into account that some of these kids may end up changing their mind in the next 7 months.

I wouldn't count all of those guys

From what I seem to recall, I'll be surprised if Henry Smith and Titus Ryan ever see the playing field at Alabama. Ryan supposedly doesn't have his academic house in order and Smith hasn't lit the world on fire in the JC ranks. Frankly, if Smith isn't doing all that well, I just don't see how the staff can offer him a scholarship. The only time a JC guy should be signed is if there's a glaring need and this guy is one that can help immediately. I'm not sure Smith is one of those guys.

You need to add John Parker Wilson and Drew Davis to that list and possibly Ezekial Knight.

I'm blind, you did mention the greyshirts but didn't list their names. Sorry.
