Re: 2010 written offers go out today.

Anybody have a feel on our chances with these guys?

I beleive Keenan Allen is a lock. He told Rivals last month that when he gets an offer from his "dream school" (Bama) he would commit. Not sure when that is coming, but he said he has always wanted to play for the Tide.

Chitty had some really good things to say about us after camping with us this summer.

We've shown a lot of interest in Craig Sanders also and he's interested...

Suffice it to say that CNS is all over these guys and quite a few more in the Class of 2010.

I feel Craig Sanders will be our #1 target for 2010

Sanders is a lock.
(I tried to edit this later, but the server was down. I should have said he is as close to a lock as can be at this point. Despite all the UF talk, Bama is in front.)

I am looking forward to seeing which RB prospect and which TE prospect gets the first offer at those positions. So far none of the RB or TE prospects are listing an early verbal offer.

I would not say he is a lock but Bama is in very good shape right now. It looks like it will come down to either Alabama or Florida his top two favorites. He grew up a Florida fan but he really likes Alabama, CNS and the staff.

Damien Robinson's film was impressive. He seemed to have good footwork and a little bit of the so-called 'mean streak'. Could he be our future Andre replacement?

At 6'4" 230 and 4.6 speed, Sanders sounds like he has the measurables to be a good pass rusher. Could a kid that size be considered an option at LB or DE?

Sanders said Saban is recruiting him at the Jack position.

Some info has come out today saying that Sanders was a huge UF lean but Saban and Smart have made a huge impression on him and UF/Bama are neck and neck. Should be a good fight.

He's athletic enough to play the Jack but he could also grow into a DE in our scheme.

Did I read this correctly? It said Sanders had 19 sacks as a sophmore? Wow. With those measurables, seems like he could really do some damage.

RT Damien Robinson is 6' 8" & 315 lbs as a junior and he is definitely one of Bama's top targets for the 2010 class along with Sanders. The offensive line at Olive Branch HS in Mississippi is rated the best OL unit in the country by Rivals.com. They average 6' 5" & 302 lbs. He may be able to replace Andre at LT but he would be a great RT candidate too if he chooses Bama.

I really hope its true that are Keenan Allen's "dream school" because I saw some film of this kid and he is extremely impressive. Can play multiple positions and is dangerous in space with the ball in his hands. He even passes a little bit. Would be a great pick up.:BigA:

We definitely lead for his services. We are recruiting him as a WR.
