2010 Iron Bowl score planted in Bryant Denny grass

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

I find this hilarious

Auburn fans swear they don't suffer from little brother syndrome but even when they win a championship Alabama is still primarily on their minds (if it wasn't true this and the Bryant statue vandalism wouldn't have happened so they can't deny it)

When's the last time you heard of a Bama fan that cared enough about Auburn to go to Cow County to mess with what little stuff they have...

Eh. A nice resodding will take care of that.

Time for some birds to go missing.
I'm glad they did it. If that doesn't motivate the football team to put half a hundred on those slack-jawed booger-eating morons across the state, what will.
I recall in my undergrad days, the week the booger-eaters played Florida, somebody went to the ugliest town on the plains and shot that dadgum chicken they kept in a cage down their.

No, no, no. I do not espouse the harming of those beautiful birds, just a bird-napping. Maybe dousing their feathers in crimson food coloring, but nothing that would actually harm them.

I actually dig those eagles. Watching those beautiful creatures fly is a thing of beauty.

Umm those birds are far from beautiful they look like flying garbage

When I first read the title of the thread, I thought that it was something that the coaches did to motivate the players similar to the motivational posters in the locker room. Even if someone from Auburn did this, I think it will serve as a huge motivational factor next year.

heh heh....that's funny! It does a soul good to laugh, and that's funny. Not 'stealing the opponent's mascot' funny, but funny nonetheless.

Completely agree.

As a matter of fact, I'd leave it there and have the football team take a good look at it for a few weeks.

Saw this on twitter earlier. Pretty cruddy job if you ask me. Looks like the barn is only good at cheating.

Hmmm. Pretty bad for a bunch of farmers if you ask me. Perhaps that is why they stick to their area of expertise, animal husbandry.

So they tp their own house after AU wins and the put rye in their neighbors yard to send a "message". That's a family environment if I've ever heard of one. A family with 13 year olds

Well... I hope it was a couple of short bus riding middle schoolers and not college students or grown men. It's down right embarrassing if you ask me. smh...

Taste like chicken.:biggrin2:;)

So, last season just before the Iron Bowl, some barner puts a newton jersey on the Bear Bryant statue. Now this. It's not like either of those things is a big deal or anything, but why are they allowed to do it? I mean, if some Bama fan went down to the trashiest little village on the plains and so much as drew devil horns and a mustache on a picture of Terry Bowden, they would be screaming their heads off. If they have the right to come on our campus and do this, then does that mean one of us has the right to kick the ever loving crap out of them if we catch them in the act? Or would that be a no no since barners have diplomatic immunity?

3 things -

1) That is petty and immature. Bama didn't do anything this childish when we won the title, beat Auburn, etc. I guess we take a more "business as usual" approach, to their "OMGZZZ, lets celebrate this will never happen again GOD LOVES AUBURN MOSTEST CAMMY CAM JUICE IS YUMMY CHIZNIK IS AHHHMAZING OFF THE FIELD BUTT WHOOPING!" approach.

2) When is Bama going to wise up, post a security team in the area around the stadium, and install cameras?

3) I hope it stays to motivate the team in the off-season. I hope that these guys are so motivated and prepared going into JHS at the end of the season, that we win by 52.

Even God won't be able to stop the NCAA though..............

For a fanbase who disrespects their own campus by littering it with tons of toilet paper, this is no surprise. I'd love to catch one of the idiots in the act though. I think if we catch one of them we should brand them with 36-0 on their rear ends.

Who knows though, maybe it is one of our own who is still just steaming mad and wants the team to never forget.
