Question: 2013 Coaching Clinic

Does anyone have any info on the 2013 Coaching Clinic hosted by Coach Saban and staff? I have heard that Coach Vermeil and Coach Pagano would be in attendance. I have attended 2 of these Coaching Clinics (in 2009 and 2010) and LOVED every minute of it. I can't seem to find an itinerary any where. Thanks in advance and ROLL TIDE!

Man I wish I could go... I will be making the trip down the following week to observe practice on the 18th and for A-Day on the 20th.

Instead I will be stuck at the Notre Dame clinic. Although they do have Belichick speaking this year which I am PUMPED about but I'd still rather be at Bama!

I'd love it if you guys could post any notes you gather!

That's a great idea! Maybe we could start a thread on things we learned or took away from breakout sessions during the clinic and post them. There are usually several sessions I want to attend but have to choose only one. It would be cool if you get other notes from different sessions. Thanks!

Maybe a dumb question, but do you have to be a high school or college football coach to attend? I coach youth and would love to learn more especially from speakers like those listed.

I know fans attended the ND clinic I was at last year... I would imagine youth coaches would be MORE than welcome at any clinic!

Not a dumb question at all! I coach Middle School (6th, 7th, and 8th graders) and absolutely LOVE this clinic! In 2009 after I attended for the first time, I came back and implemented a totally new practice schedule (suitable for Jr. High) and we went undefeated and won the County Championship. In 2010 (after my second clinic) we had only one loss and it was to a school outside our county. We won back-to-back County Championships! I didn't get to go in 2011 or 2012. I'll definitely be there this year! I think anyone who coaches football at any age should go at least once! That $60 not only covers admission, but also 2 or 3 meals!! Well worth it! I am making plans for the Clinic and coming back the next week for A-Day!! Roll Tide!!

Well, I got my purchase order and registration forms sent in (Me and an assistant coach will be attending) BUT... I'm having a hard time finding a hotel room close to campus. I don't really want to drive from B'ham back and forth on Friday and Saturday morning. Anybody know of ANY hotel rooms fairly close to campus? The only ones I can find online are booked that weekend. Thought there might be a couple of hotels that aren't online that might have rooms. Thanks ya'll! See ya next weekend!!
