Looks to be the top prospect in the country next or atleast in the converstaion. His HS coach is former UA player Mickey Conn. Now I can not verify it but UGA fans are saying that he lives with Conn are upset he is pushing him towards us. Again I know Conn is his HS coach but anything not sure.

Also Nkemdiche wants to play with his brother in college. His brother enrolled in JUCO this year. Not even sure if we offered and not sure who helped to place him. He plays safety and looks to be decent but no big offers but am sure everyone will try to offer if it gets his brother. Some recruiting experts are saying that R Nkemdiche might be better than Clowney, but time will tell.

It's never too soon to look ahead, but one of Georgia's top defensive line prospects for the Class of 2013 is end Robert Nkemdiche (Loganville, Ga./Grayson). Already 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, Nkemdiche has scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn and Georgia.

I haven't timed him this spring, but I bet he runs 4.6 [seconds in the 40-yard dash]. Heck, he may run 4.5. He's that fast. And I am going to play him a little at running back this fall. We did a little last year, and it was like parting the Red Sea when he ran between the tackles. No one wanted to touch him."

How is the name pronounced? Is it (In - Kim - Dish) ? This guy would be a great get. I'm sure he'll rule the roost when it comes to recruiting discussions at DT the next few years.

According to the AJC article above: (pronounced kim-DEE-chee).
That's how I've heard it pronounced as well. Most seem to feel we're in the lead for him at this point, of course a lot can change between now and when he actually signs, so we'll see.

I love his highlight reel. He has some talent similar to Clowney but JC's reel was more impressive. Granted I was watching a sophomore video compared to a senior video so Nkemdiche still has more time. He's been on the radar for a while now and since he's dominating camps with kids in the 2012 class, he's a big name now. He will be a top 5 prospect in the 2013 class and we will have a good chance at him

Weren't you watching a sophomore reel? 2011 should be his junior year.

I wouldn't compare him to Clowney they are different types of ends. One analyst, forgot exactly who it was, said Clowney is a Julius Peppers type while Nkemdiche is a Reggie White type.

They were saying the other day that he would probably be number 1 player in the 2012 class. Guy is going to be awesome. Best part the top 2 players in Georgia(top 5 national) next year love bama and we lead for both of them. the other one is Foster the LB.

I don't know Mickey Conn (his head coach) personally, but I've heard him speak at our church and I know people that know him. He is high quality, character and class all the way. While I would hope he would be a huge help for us in landing RN I know he will support and assist him regardless. He won't do anything for Alabama that he wouldn't do for other schools. He just might smile a little bigger when Alabama comes visiting though. :) I'm thinking Grayson is Kirby Smart's area.

Alabama coach and Kirby Smart - he just needs to go ahead and commit. ;)

I'm not sure if Kirby is recruiting them or not. Actually CNS has kinda tapered off CKS's recruiting in GA so that the rest of the staff will have ties in that state in the situation occurs that CKS leaves.

Smart is still the lead recruiter on most of the Georgia kids Alabama is after. However, Chris Rumph has several ties in the state of Georgia from his time as a Clemson assistant.

Good read and I love the fact before he moved to DE he played RB and DB. What an athlete for someone who has only played football for 4 years. I hope he rolls with the Tide.

"Robert is one of the best players I have ever seen. Period," Propst said. I have coached 30 years and a lot of great players. I have coached Tim Tebow, Cam Newton and Joe McKnight in all-star games. He's the best underclassmen I have ever seen."

And that's important because of Nkemdiche's unique situation at home. His mom, Beverly, lives in Africa and is currently running for governor for one of their states in Nigeria. His father, Sunday, is a doctor who works long hours at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

others compared him to former North Carolina and current Chicago Bears star Julius Peppers.

Re: 2013 DT Robert Nkemdiche Update (5/23)

Robert Nkemdiche on his rumored ’secret commitment’ to Alabama (UPDATED) | AJC College Sports Recruiting
We stopped by Grayson High School and asked Robert the big question: Are you a “secret commitment” to Alabama?

“No sir, I didn’t secretly commit to Alabama,” Nkemdiche told the AJC. “I just like them. Alabama is a good school and my coach went there. I just like the school, and it has nothing to do with my coach.”

The next visit was with Grayson coach Mickey Conn, who played football at Alabama. Conn has helped nearly 75 of his players earn college scholarships over the years, including to BYU, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, many more, and, yes — one to Alabama (Lorenzo Washington).

There’s a conspiracy theory among some non-Alabama fans that Conn is pushing his prized prospect toward Alabama.

I've seen some talk of him following his brother to whichever school he chooses. I don't know how true it is, though.
