Most Arkansas fans are happy with what Pittman is doing right now anyway. Also the belief is that Arkansas turned down Leach because he wanted to much money. Not that Leach turned down Arkansas.
Doesn't at least one of the Waltons back Arky...? 🤔

Hunter is not the type of AD to throw a bunch of money at someone that only wanted to come if the price is right. He hates massive buyouts. Its why he also turned down Kiffin at the last moment. When Kiffin brought in Sexton to get Ole Miss involved and drive the price tag way up, he left. He didn't want to play any of Sexton's games

Well, you get what you pay for...

An experienced coach is worth more money.

Allegedly Matt Rhule is interested in Joe Brady joining him as OC for the Panthers. If that happens I'll be fully on the Tua to Panthers train.

Unless you are a Pirate -- why go to Washington State?

That's like having a "hit" show on the CW...... you can be amazing, but who's gonna see it?

I hope Sark does not interview with Washington State or any other school. I hope UA has already said they would give him a substantial raise.
Dang, that is a legit threat right there. I donno, Sark already coached at Washington and not sure he jumps for a school like Wazzu. Not too familiar with that conference but I would suspect it would take an Arizona State type job or maybe Cal. Heck, next year he may get UCLA.

If this is true no way Ogre keeps him at LSU. He would be an absolute FOOL to turn that offer down.
Agreed. It's from a Scott Roussel of Football Scoop. Which I know I've seen before but have no idea if they/he is credible. But other reporters seem to be treating it as somewhat legitimate so 🤷‍♂️.

Where ever there's BBQ, Bourbon & Football
That could be in the 900k-1.1 million dollar range job. I doubt LSU can keep up.
Just from the resume standpoint. I have no idea what Brady's dreams and aspirations are within the coaching world of football. But my guess is the OC at LSU isn't the pinnacle of his career goal. Again, he'd be an idiot to turn down an OC job in the NFL.

I read somewhere that LSU is willing to pay Brady $1.5M -- is it $2.5M to be an NFL OC?
Yeah I’ll believe it when I see it. Paying 5 million in coordinators while paying Ed 4 million will totally bankrupt their Athletic Department. They can theorize all they want to based on what Aranda gets paid but there is no way 9 million dollars is going to be paid between 3 coaches on 1 sport.

Brady looks like an NFL guy to me. I don’t see him as a lifelong Tiger

If they are that confident and he doesn’t have his eyes on the horizon why wouldn’t they have gotten that deal done yet.
I can’t imagine the life of an NFL/SEC coordinator but I’m sure the thought of not having to recruit would be a plus
