I guess it is fitting that I begin this thread. It is no big secret for whom I will be pulling in this particular series. What will at least make it bearable just like in 2011 is the fact I don't despise the diamondbacks to the depths of my soul. Back then, my dad had been a Cardinals fan since the 1940s, so while the loss was bad it wasn't as bad as the year before.

I'm going to predict Texas in a seven game series.

We've got no big names (Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers), the regular season that they blackout for you if you don't have cable is now moot, and people are cutting the cord anyway.
