I assume this is a rhetorical question.Great news, but how solid is this source?
I don't intend this to be sarcastic. Since it's a serious question, I'm not sure else how to put this. He linked a post from twitter where some page said several sources. I'm not sure how anyone here would have any idea how solid the sources are from a post on twitter.Serious question.
Tipton at On3 is pretty reliable. To be honest, we don’t need the pressure of having the best player in the country. History shows us that doesn’t work out. We would rather have some hungry types that want to prove themselves. Not someone who’s just on a pitstop to the NBA as the number one pick. I know he’s phenomenal. But, something tells me we’re better off without him.
I still want a 5* in this class. If we can get Mikel Brown, then I will be satisfied, but if not, then I really really want Dybantsa.Tipton at On3 is pretty reliable. I'm with you on Mikel Brown, Jr. He would be a good addition.
FWIW, based on what I have read recently, from a variety of places, we are still in the mix for Dybantsa.
We know the reported BYU offer for AJ is around $4.5M and we know we are not going to pay that much. AJ needs to figure out if he wants to take the up front money for the one and done year or go to Bama and get better prepared for the NBA. The #1 overall picks 1st contract is worth $12m/annually and then the next one if they are performing well can triple or quadruple the 1st contract.I'm with you on Mikel Brown, Jr. He would be a good addition.

I don't know about you but Harper for the Rutgers was the #2 player in the country last year and was rated just below Flagg. I would take him in a heart beat right now!Tipton at On3 is pretty reliable. To be honest, we don’t need the pressure of having the best player in the country. History shows us that doesn’t work out. Saw this on Twitter last night. Game couldn't have hurt our cause because it looked like Bama and UNC are on two very divergent paths.FWIW, concerning Dybantsa:
I've included the link, but there is no new info in the article other than the title statement.
Father of No. 1 overall recruit AJ Dybantsa in attendance for Alabama vs. North Carolina game
Ace Dybantsa, the father of the No. 1 recruit in the country AJ Dybantsa, is attending the Alabama vs. UNC game tonight.www.on3.com
If he indeed was there, I would like to think BAMA left a favorable impression on him.
