I think too many people look at the quad 1 records now as a major barometer but I think it has way to big of a gap to look at it. North Carolina is definitely getting ragged for it being 1-12 which I get but 7 or 8 of those losses were to teams with a 1 or 2 seed. They lost to Duke 3 times, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Michigan State and Kansas (who was number 2 at time). How would Indiana done against those teams. Probably not much better maybe 1 win. I just don’t see how a game at Florida or Duke has the same value as a game at Penn State. I mean one team could lose by 2 at Florida and they are 0-1 in Quad 1 games. The other team wins by 1 at Penn State and they are 1-0 in quad 1 games. So not all quad 1 games are even close to the same I think they need more groups and smaller class widths.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

You’ll often see some sites further break it down into Q1A and Q1B.
