Oh no

We have about 5 or 6 spots they will want to fill and they will fill them.

Who those will go to hasn't materialized yet but we are not done for the 25 class. Players can and will visit in season and we have a monster home slate. The bama uga game will be the biggest recruiting visitor weekend in the county all season.

For specific names, dear, ty jackson and Terry are the big ones left and we will likley continue to recruit some guys who passed on us (Lockett sharma offord smith for instance). As well as continuing to recruit our guys.

Still need 1 or 2 safeties
Would love one more DL especially a bandit type but not the end of the world if we miss because the portal will always be rich with dlinemen.

Depending on turbo we may look at a second back other than dear. Perhaps another corner/ath type who will take time to develop and hang around to do so.

The uncertain future about walkons and the 105 limit will factor into recruiting now as well.

May offer some guys who would have been post in the past but everyone will likley have to do that moving forward.

Should add that we are currently in a dead period, have been since the cookout and will be until September 1st. Thats why its quiet, will be until the season starts. Then begins the evaluation period. And we will know more of who are our remaining targets really are.

With the pending commitment from Dear, I wondered if Rogers will decommit before the 20th or after ? It wouldn't surprised me if he stayed in this class either. I know there have been lots of rumors and rightfully so from the Bama and barn fanbase that he is good as gone and it's just a matter of time. I would hate to lose him. I was very excited that he committed to Bama so early on, and being instate was extra special. At one time, he was considered the best back in the 2025 class, so let's not act as if he's chop liver.

Dear could be a huge pickup, and the fact that they have such an amazing class before they actually show "proof of concept" on the field is so promising.

There are definitely going to be some guys impressed enough to flip over the next few months

I’ve read an interview with Rogers back in May. He did not sound like he was solid with us. He was saying that he would be doing school visits in the Fall and then decide what school to pick to play for.
He has mentioned OSU, Auburn, Alabama.

I also am high on turbo. I expect he will stay commited until he makes his decision which may be in December.

Part of this seems to be the current staff wants him but is higher on other guys (dear especially) and they want to see him play this year. Id live for them to keep him on board but I would be shocked for us to have another running back visiting this season also.

Our current RB depth is crazy good and Dear is a top 2 RB so it may have Turbo thinking about PT. Like you said though I hope we keep him.

Oh, no doubt Aubrn will seize the opportunity to build a camp around Turbo if Dear does commit. He's just down the road and they've gone after every other in$tate player with a vengean$e.
