Shaq in college regularly played against people 6'-9" and above. How many kids over 6'-4" played against this guy in high school? On that basis, people not going to the rim against him doesn't seem far fetched to me.

I saw LSU play the Barn Shaqs freshman year on da plains when Chris Jackson was their star. But Auburn had a little skinny blond-haired guy who played Center for them who might have been 6' 8" or so.

They didn't feed him the ball too much that game!
