Recruiting news on Katrelle Harmon

Alabama listed as a finalist for 2026 4-star guard Katrelle Harmon
The 6-foot-4 guard from Mount Pleasant, Utah, and Wasatch Academy is the 68th-ranked overall player in the 2026 class. He is a top 10 combo guard in the class and a 247Sports Composite four-star.

Katrelle is set to announce on 8/9 and he has good things to say about Bama.

Chris Washington, Jr : First commitment of 2026 class

Awesome pick-up. Welcome and RTR Tarris! Here is an article with video of him and he is a smooth athletic player.

Wow, that's surprising considering he is 20 min down the road from UA.. Good luck to him!

This isn't a commentary on his situation... for I know nothing and have heard nothing about it. However, sometimes staying near home brings a lot of issues. There's sometimes people who have close relationships with athletes through high school that, for the good of the player, needs to be left behind. That's been the case prior to NIL, but I can only imagine it's gotten worse in today's environment. If we don't see a push from UA for this kid, we can assume that's a possible reason. In the end, though we'd like every kid like this to end up at the Capstone, sometimes it's better for the kid to go elsewhere.

Worked for Mark Sears AND Bama. Of course, this scenario wouldn't apply if he's a One & Done.
