There’s a legitimate chance that Anderson Diaz reclassifies, could this be why there was no urgent need for ball handlers?

I’m wondering if that means our big man won’t play? Otherwise our scholarship total is at 14
The roster limit is now 15 after the house settlement thing last year.
Well that’s good. I guess that means Murphy can get a scholarship too then.
I wonder if this means that the big guy from last year with the medical issue might be hanging it up.
My immediate thought when I saw this news was that Collins might be done. Hope not...
It's always possible, but they did announce a few months ago he would be back, so I'm optimistic this isn't the case.

12 points and 10 boards a game last year. Very athletic. Strictly a rim protector and close to the rim shooter offensively, but he hit 71% of his shots in high school. 7.5 foot wingspan. Standing up reach 9.5 feet!!! Runs the floor very well. I think a big difference maker. Coach Oats said at the end of last season, "We need to get bigger". Well guess what? Five incoming 6'10" or over. We got bigger! I think this will be one of our best teams under Coach Oats.One more addition for the 2026 class

His rim protection stats are kind of deceptive. He only averaged one block a game, but in the words of his coach, "That's because nobody tried to take the ball to the rim with him back there". Makes sense.Is he a rim protector? I didn't see any defense or shooting in his highlights...
This has to be the biggest guy Oats has recruited. At least one of the biggest.
Not sure I am buying that; was anybody more a intimidating force than Shaq college? He averaged 5 blocks per game his Junior year.
Shaq in college regularly played against people 6'-9" and above. How many kids over 6'-4" played against this guy in high school? On that basis, people not going to the rim against him doesn't seem far fetched to me.
I played with Roy Rogers when he was a freshman... even then teams would figure out in the course of a game that going into the paint was a bad idea.
Yet, they still did. Second all time in blocks at Bama; 4.9 per game his Senior year. He was a good one. Be great if this guy can be close.
