2026 Recruiting

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

We may be adding a safety to this class. As discussed before he is Jireh's teammate and was committed to Maryland.

I think we will end up with him. He has caught the attention of major programs this year and is going to end up a fast riser at the end. Ive on seen his junior highlights and he looked every bit a 3 star...so his senior play must be a huge improvement.

When Bama and OSU get involved you know he has skills and he must have blossomed.

"***Three-star DL Franklin Whitley (Greenville, SC): Bama247 shared in the weekend recruiting wrap coming out of the unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa (Ala.) last weekend for the Vanderbilt game that Alabama seemed to have knocked it out of the park for the 6-foot-7 prospect. That was confirmed during the conversation with his father, Will Whitley, who could not have had enough positive things to say about the experience, which included a sit down with (Kalen) DeBoer and that is holding a lot of weight.

"Alabama has made it extremely hard for other programs and I will just leave it at that. This weekend, you talk about setting the bar, it went above and beyond with setting the bar of what I want to see my son thrive in. This was a great weekend. Obviously still in the process, but I would be lying if I didn't say this was top, top, top of the list so far of our experiences."

Florida State will get Whitley on campus this weekend (Oct. 11) after offering earlier this week, while South Carolina will host the in-state target for the Gamecocks the following weekend (Oct. 18). Other schools in communication include Clemson and Florida. Back to Alabama next month for Whitley, who has seen his recruitment completely take off this fall."

A recent article from 247 on Whitley.

This is what I like hearing. Recruiting is still the life blood of college football. Granted, it's not exactly what it used to be, but it's still very, very important. It seems Deboer has really kept up the great recruiting Alabama had become accustomed to under Saban. Keep up the great work coaches!!!

6’7” on the defensive line? Yes please, and bring his brothers if they are that tall as well.

Not only are our guys short, they don’t get pressure, and they don’t get their arms up nearly enough.

Yeah, that is unusually tall for a DL... 😳

But would be more effective on batt downs at the line of scrimmage! 😎

He just locked in official visit to Alabama.
"Committed" to Mich. St.

Attention from Bama has got to be tempting!

Dude probably has some long arms too! If he can contact the OLmen before they contact him, that's a big advantage!

Seems to be the direction we are going with DL. More athletic guys. If he can play the edge, he could possibly be a great pass rusher!
