2026 Recruiting

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

TJ, he may not be highly rated, but look at his offer list. those top schools beg to differ from the scouting reports.

I don’t care about his rating. I know that Newtonian physics tells me that you need to apply a much higher force to move a 330 lbs body in comparison to a 275 lbs body.
We really have to have 330 lbs guys on run and short yardage plays

Nice writeup on Cederian Morgan.

I saw a video of him attending the UT game. Already built like a stud. Reminded me of Julio after he had been in the league several years and had got jacked.

If he puts anymore weight he may grow into a TE. Geeze, he's already 220 lbs and hasn't even gotten into the college weight and nutritional program.
They may trim him down and/or keep him about the same weight, but change his diet.

But, I agree, if he got much bigger he might get too big for WR.

Julio played at 6'2 3/4" and was 220. AJ Brown plays at 6"1" 226. Morgan is supposed to be 6'3 1/2" and 220.
Right, but Buzzard's comment was he's already that size without a college weight training program, which ideally adds weight.

Depends on how they envision using him. That's a big WR already, but they may see him adding some weight OR they could manage him about that size OR possibly he could lose 10 lbs.

I imagine they'd want him as big as possible without losing any speed.

Most boys, without doing anything, gain 10-15 pounds from HS to the end of their Freshman year of college. This kid's already 220 lbs and has yet to step foot on campus, much less get into a college weight and nutrition program. Granted, they may have a plan to keep him in the 220's or they could possibly see him as a hybrid TE/WR by putting on some weight and trying to make a perpetual mismatch on the field. Who knows? But if the plan is to keep him in the 220's, that's going to be tough to do seeing his body is naturally going to get heavier just from changing from a boy into a man. Once he gets in that weight room and that muscle starts being added, he's going to get bigger. It's going to be hard to keep him from adding weight.
