I actually have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this guitar. It plays like a dream, but is let down by these Jackson ceramic pickups. But they’re not easily replaced because of the active mid-boost circuits that rely on a 9 volt battery. Part of me wants to keep it original, even though the pickups suck, but I also want it to sound better. It’s literally the best built and best playing guitar I have, but also the worst sounding.
