Jamarion Matthews will be one to watch for once he comes on campus

Oh boy, I remember saying he was coming to Alabama before anyone knew. Matthew is gonna definitely be the one to watch. This kid learns fast and I wouldn't be shocked if he knows playbook

All the “sites that do this for a living” had him 100% to Ole Miss. This is why I’m done with college football. The whole thing is fake and no one knows anything.

I would imagine the Ole Miss "rumors" were where he was potentially headed last year, so all these sites just "assumed" it was Ole Miss.

I just don't care at this point. This is a mess now. I'd guess its only going to get worse.

Side note:
Indiana already has transfer commitments from 3 Edge rushers....2 from Kansas State and 1 from Notre Dame. And their new QB for next year from TCU.

Its a free for all and there's no end in sight. I read this morning that 4500 players were in the portal.....which is about one third of all D1 players. How is that sustainable?

I can see why the staff is interested!!

He has very good vision and can quickly find holes on interior runs.

He can also bounce it outside and has Speed to get around the corner.

Looks to have very good hands catching the ball out of the backfield.

He’s pretty good in the open field too. He has some wiggle and you see him trying to set up blocks and has a solid stiff arm.

He shows Homerun Speed on a few plays too.

A lot of attributes missing from our RB group this year.

Hope we get him.

And with that I am officially done with portal season. I will tune back in again in a month to see what the roster looks like. It's just too much to even try and follow or understand. This is just absolute madness. I keep thinking that at some point order will be restored with portal and NIL, but I don't think it will, at least not for a few years.

Sometimes “there ain’t enough mustard to cover the hot dog”….

First time I heard this was from my high school coach. We had a guy that, as a junior, was a Parade Magazine High School All American. He was the only junior in the country to make first team. A heck of a player.
By the next year, it had gone to his head. At the beginning of the season he was on everyone’s list. By the time signing day came around, about half of the major schools had pulled off of him.
I asked my coach “what happened with him his senior year?”

And the above was his response…
