Clint and Jimmy (Cover Crimson) contrasted Smith's variability with that of USC's Thompkins; Thompkins would be up-and-down WITHIN the same game, not "disappear" for two games. The Cover Crimson guys think Thompkins' inconsistency would be more desirable than Smith, who would have "a" good game ... and then be a virtual no-show for the next two games.

I hope they're right.

Even swap for a guy who wants to be here is better than keeping the guy who doesn’t. Probably a common theme for portal in general

When I first saw it…I thought the intended word was “resign”… with the hyphen meant to indicate that it was being stated emphatically…

…and in the moment I was excited that a coach (O-line) was resigning
