Not always. Some players have taken less in NIL to play for a desired program. As example, Cam Coleman took $500k less in NIL when he signed with Auburn because he had greater comfort with the Auburn staff and it was closer to home.
That certainly changed, didn't it? 🙄
 
I gotta admit ... $6.5MM for one year would be hard to turn down. Hope he goes pro, though.
Truthfully I wish Ty the best whatever he decides. One of the last of a dying breed in college football -a young man that spent his entire career at Alabama putting the team ahead of himself. Don’t care if he ends up at one of our biggest rivals. I’ll always pull for him.
