I want OL who are interchangeable who can flip from guard to tackle and left side to right side on any given play, heck even jump in at center. Play match up football on the OL. Then we need a couple of OL that can line up for tackle eligible trick plays. The more gimmicks we can throw at the defense the greater chance we have to out maneuver them. We can revolutionize OL play.
Don't pay attention to transfer portal ranking. It's irrelevant.

It truly is a joke. Unfortunately, it isn't funny. Instead, it is very, very sad.

It might have come off wrong, what I was getting at is I wasn't completely sure if after the Smothers and Coleman thing, the money got tied up in retaining the current roster or not. If they're still able to sign one of the top remaining DLs in the portal they clearly had some left to spend.
Also, I know rankings don't tell the whole story but I did allude to them previously so... up to 19th ranked portal class on 247. Hard to complain if you have both a top 20 recruiting and portal class.
That's a good perspective to look at. If we had kept Smother and lost Coleman, I think we would've targeted same players. But if we had got both of them, I think we would've been okay either way. I don't think Bama was ever getting Coleman and they knew. It's good that we're spending more money than we did last year and I hope they continue to do same for next year.
I am just proud of this staff man. The are doing exactly what we need done in the portal while still recruiting prep players at a high level. Make some staff changes and move to a more toting the rock mentality and we have ourselves one heck of a program.

Alabama football extended an offer to former Missouri State offensive lineman, Ebubedike Nnabugwu during a recent visit. Nnabugwu started his collegiate career at Delaware State.

This is really big. The DL may be better than last year at its best. I assume the USC DL will be the bandit which will be an upgrade over Renaud who was JAG. Green may be better against the run than Smith and as good vs the pass because Smith never realized his promise here. This DL should be good vs the run.
If Alabama could get an SEC starting caliber RB and Arion Carter that would be almost dreamlike. Of course need some filler WRs, got enough starter types already. Hopefully Ryan will continues to his renaissance begun in the Indiana game. where he caught everything along with one unbelievable catch.
