Link: 2026 Transfer Portal

This is an interesting one as I'm not really sure why he's still available or what have you, but he was offered by Troy and UAB.

I would have liked to see one more experienced receiver join, but this is one of those sleeper 3 stars types I hoped they would get from the portal and use those extra scholarships on. They do need to bridge the gap a bit with the depth between the scholarship players and the walkons (sort of, in a couple cases as they basically bumped guys up to a scholarship) and this is a 3 star who had offers so he might fit the bill.

Now this is a Diamond in the rough!!!

I just watched his stuff on Hudl

He catches the ball with his hands

For a smaller guy he can get up into the air and get the ball

He won a few scuffles in Man Coverage and just took the ball out of the air.

Hard to get an idea on Route Running because of HS defense at what looks like a lower level but he had very successful results off of Multiple route types.

Plus what can’t be taught as mentioned above is Speed.

He looks Crazy Fast.

Again hard to tell for sure how fast because of competition but there were several plays where he’s just leaving guys in the dust.

I mean pulling away by 10-15-20 yards and the separation gets further the longer the YAC.

Very Impressive Find.

It sounds like you are describing Jalen Waddle.

kinda bad that someone like Riley cant have the opportunity to xfer himself if hes being replaced, which is what this effectively seems like. Portal is so screwed up but it is what it is

He has spring and fall practice to prove himself and they're going to play the guys that can help. You can effectively play 4 running backs, certainly 3 and a few of them can behind more receivers than worrying about carries and this staff utilizes those abilities

Regarding ability tO afford pringle, i agree—ill believe it when i see it. And i still would prefer spending money on the LOS ratHer than RB. Especially if the RB commands a bidding war.
Cap’s seem to be taunting lowercase…and lowercase appears to be passive-aggressively dealing with the issue. And if that weren’t enough, punctuation walked into the room and said, “hold my beer and watch this.” 😁

This year's Heisman Trophy winner was a Miami legacy who was denied a walk-on opportunity. AT MIAMI.

Saw this article from three hours ago regarding Pringle. SJC may be right that they are forking out the cash so we will see.

In an article from On3's Pete Nakos, he reveals that Alabama is an early team to watch for former Miami Hurricanes running back Girard Pringle.

"Sources have told On3 that Alabama is an early school to keep tabs on in this recruitment," Nakos wrote. "A return to Miami has not officially been ruled out yet, either."

The true freshman appeared in nine games in 2025. He carried the ball 62 times for 375 yards and four touchdowns. He also had four receptions for 53 yards and one touchdown. Pringle is leaving Miami after its leading rusher last season, Mark Fletcher Jr., announced he will be returning to school.

$150 - Heather - Gray

Coming out of high school, Pringle was a four-star recruit, the No. 5 running back and the No. 118 player in the nation. He chose the Hurricanes over the Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Texas A&M Aggies and even Alabama. Pringle now ranks No. 8 running back to hit the transfer portal this offseason.

However, the Crimson Tide once again finds itself trying to land his commitment. He would be the first running back Alabama adds through the portal. It has already lost redshirt sophomore running back Richard Young, who transferred to the Colorado Buffaloes.

The offense is in need of improvement. Alabama finished the season tied 49th in points per game (29.5) and ranked 84th in total yards per game (367.7)
Is that the shoe he wore when he came out of high school?
