All conjecture at this point but with NIL being a factor, jumping to the NFL as a later round pick isn't nearly as intriguing as it once was.

Which begs the question, if Ty decides not to declare for the draft do you "get rid of" a known stud (in Ty) for a younger unproven but uber talented underclassman (Keelon Russell). IMO, if we're presented with this situation it would be A HUGE risk to tell Ty he needs to transfer and put all your cards in on a kid nowhere near as proven. Man what a dilemma this could turn out to be. LOL! But we won't worry about that until it actually happens. Just pointing out, it very well could.

Since you mentioned it...

The way Ty is playing and if he continues that trajectory this season, he's going to be very high on some draft boards.

Just watched the Film Study guy break down his game against Vandy and I watched the week before when he praised Ty for the throws he made against his Dawgs and he thinks Ty is the best Qb in college ball right now.

So either TS loves Bama so much he'd pass it up the NFL for another year OR he makes a business decision and sets himself and family up for the rest of his life with a signing bonus/guaranteed 1st round money.

IDK what he'll do, but I think I know what I'd do.

And if I'm Russell, I'm getting ready for my a chance to run the Bama sports car!!!

Ty already in 1st round mock drafts and if he keeps it up he will move further up IMO. I think we will see Ty move on to NFL and a new QB will take the helm next year, most likely Russell.
