2018 Prospect: 5* CB Tyson Campbell (UGA)

He is a good one and I have seen several recent CB's to UGA. We are recruiting the #1 CB Patrick Surtain who is his teammate and I don't believe they will both sign with us.

Does UGA have room for both? Wouldn't that be a helluva note? The way they've blown the doors off this cycle....?

we've made up some ground with Surtain. I feel much better with him than I did a month ago. still a month to go.

Surtain either goes to LSU or Bama. both will not be playing together at the same school. Campbell from all his interviews wants to be his own man at the next level.

I hope we can get Surtain. I think Campbell is all Bulldog. Anyone got feel on how we stand for Stuart. I know he has liked Bama for awhile but didn't we cool on him or something like that.

Yes we have room for both, but that would mean that one of the current guys that have committed (ex. Rashad Wildgoose) would have to look elsewhere, which is precisely what I think is going to happen.

Wildgoose may decommit and look somewhere. And I do think Campbell ends up a dawg but the chances Surtain ends up in Athens are very slim.

247Sports asked some players at the all-star games who they thought would win the Natty. Campbell picked UGA so I think that gives a great indication who he prefers. Surtain gave a little analysis but did not pick a team.

I agree... I don't see Surtain in Athens. We are starting to trend with FS O'Neal. As we all saw last night, Georgia needs some 5 star talent in the defensive backfield. Good grief, Parrish was torched for 14 points.

LSU is the main competition with Surtain.
