Game Thread: 9/27 Early Games: GT@WFU | ND @ ARK | USC @ ILL

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

How bad are both USC and Illinois or How good is Indiana?
I'm starting to really be sold on Cignetti, he's looking like the real deal. For instance sure they played a soft schedule last year, but he still beat the same Michigan team that Alabama couldn't beat when Michigan had their backups in.

This year they might have taken another step forward. They are running the ball extremely well (third in the country but their offense is still fairly balanced), this year they are #2 in scoring margin of victory, last year they were #2 as well. They don't play down to their competition, they take care of who they are supposed to. No upset losses, and these are things I'm gaining newfound appreciation for.

Yeah I think he’s probably a really good HC too and he does things with an Old School mindset.

I think he’ll keep Indiana in a position to be in the upper tier of the B1G (which is impressive).

They might go 10-2 this year and make the CFBP again.
