I wonder what his family lineage is. He looks to me like he might have a little Samoan in him, but I don’t think the name Faga is from that lineage. I just wonder because I think Samoan players have a different edge and mean streak to them.

I don't know much about our recruitment other than what I read here and what I see on Twitter, but two things come to mind:

1. It's always good get an in-stater since our recruitment base is nationwide now. They know the importance of games against Auburn and UT so much better than out of state kids.

2. But more importantly, if he's a 3 star and he had a green light to commit, that means the staff probably sees him very, very highly above his 3 star status.

He's father is in the military and currently deployed, so tells you what kind of character this guy has
