Question: About a Daniel Moore Painting

I bought one of his paintings this week at the game. It has Joe Namath in it against Tennessee. It said the final score was 27-7. Anyway, the are two other players shown in the painting, #17 & #28. Any idea who these two guys are? Thanks.

#28 is Benny Nelson. I'm not sure about #17.

I do know that Daniel Moore sometimes uses the jersey numbers to represent significant facts rather than specific players. I think I see a #62 in the background of your painting that would probably represent the date. He used 3,23 on the stamp of Coach Bryant, etc. It seems like he's used jerseys to show the score of the game, as well, but I can't cite any specific examples off the top of my head.
