? about using a marine deep cycle battery and an inverter

I'm curious how long a marine deep cycle battery will last when connected to a 400W-800W inverter that is powering around a 17" color tv and satellite receiver.

Anybody using a similar set-up when tailgating?

It depends on the conversion efficiency of your inverter and the amount of power required to operate your TV and satellite receiver. Do you have those numbers?

If not...considering the amount of money you already have invested, why not just buy and carry a spare battery?

AC Watts divided by 12 X 1.1=DC Amps

As a guess:
TV=100Watts
Satellite Receiver=40Watts
If battery Amp/Hrs=100
Approximately 7 hours if battery is fully charged and inverter conversion efficiency is 96%
