Only programs that spend more on basketball than football will pay on this stratosphere. But Sherrell needs a full perimeter of strong guards to take the focus off him. Without that his value goes way down.

I got frustrated at times watching Sherrell not give good effort and play soft around the rim.
The only reason Philon was that low was coming back so late and never in portal. He would have easily gotten over $2M prob closer to 3.
Cannot dunk in traffic. Hands like a weak guard attacking the rim. $4 million you better dunk like Shaq when the ball gets inside.
Curious that Sherrill had a 'no contact' but has not announced a destination.
Read an article that Sherrell is having dinner with Bryan Hogsdon at Providence. Surely they don’t have the cash for him
If he improves as much as he did over the last year he'll start becoming a force. Just don't know where his ceiling is.
They already signed a top transfer portal guy in Miles Bryd which I am sure cost them some money. I know they told him that he would have an increase in available NIl money from what he had with South Florida. So I think they have more than most would assume.
So sherell is asking for 3 million dollar .. maybe more. You mean to tell me we should overpay him?
That’s why I’m leaning in into finding some Uber aggressive Corey Chest guys that will come in for 8 to 12 minutes per game and wreak havoc.
Have to see what others are. If you get another Bowen for $500k less then it’s worth spending it. Last transfer class basically failed so we need to hit on some this year and it cost money. If not Sherrell better get someone better. But people are down playing how good he was this year on this board. Unfortunately his agent is the one who should be taking more heat than him and driving this.
Find an OL or DL that needs to lose prior Spring Practice and put on the basketball team to do just that.
Sometime people just need to stop worrying about NIL money, and just trust the process. This is a huge get.
Brandon Garrison from Kentucky has committed to come to T-Town. He was a guy I looked at as a guy that gives your some height and strength. I really liked him after the 2024 season and thought he would be a guy who could breakthrough this year for the Wildcats but pretty much had same type season.
He is an enigma imo. You look at the skill set size touch around the rim at times but then you watch the next game and he is nowhere to be seen and does nothing. He had 11 games he didn’t make a basket and 6 games he didn’t get more than 1 rebound. Can the coaching staff get more out of him than they did at Kentucky. I think he will frustrate a lot of fans this season as he will show glimpses of that top 50 recruit he was but then not show up other times.
I hope your right all I see is a guy if you were gonna play a pick up game at the gym and you don’t know who anyone is but watch the layup line and few shits you take him with one of the first choices but then halfway through the game your thinking why the heck did I pick this guy with one of my first picks. If he is a depth piece that is one thing but if he is one of our top transfer guys we bring in it will be another disappointing transfer portal season.
