Question: "Alabama can't run the ball" - Have we ever had that issue before?

The OL in that photo are in a perfect straight line. The QB is under center. The backs are all in position, ready to go. No changing the play at the line. No looking at the sideline for their assignments. Just line up and run the play.

Here we come. Stop us if you can. Which you can't.

Man, I miss those days.

Here's something that's interesting about this photo. There are no TEs. That means both ends are split out. Not something you saw very often with the wishbone.

Watch cigs expression when he says Alabama has a great coach. Coaches know coaches, telling. Hint, it's a dismissive smirk.
I like Coach Deboer he seems like a cool nice guy & that may be the problem..

When we first heard about the ice cream trucks at practice, I lost a lottttt of faith in his coaching style, Im not sure a player's friendly HC with a finesse style mentality over physicality..Will make it at Bama or in the SEC..

What baffles my mind to no end, if you commit to a strong running game, it opens up your offense to an even stronger passing game & you can be as pass happy as you want..

I felt bad for our D, for being on the field, as much as they were all season long cause we simply had 0 running game..

Why does being a players coach always comeback to serving ice cream?

No kidding. Being able to impose your will running the ball is step #1 to a dominant program. It should be a focus.

Yup..It's the one trait all championship teams has in common with each other, no matter what kinda offense is ran, the foundation of their championship mentality, they impose their will like we did running the during "The Process" under Coach Saban..
