Seeing how it's 19-3 now in game 2, I figured we mine as well get tomorrows thread going. Guess I'll start the Peanut chant: Peanut, Peanut, Peanut. I sure hope we regroup and come out with a positive attitude after such a horrible game.

Course with the temperature getting as hot as it is going to get tomorrow, If he can give us 6-7 good innings we will be in good shape in my opinion. Forecast for Clemson, SC is a high of 97 tomorrow.

Well, I certainly hope Peanut brings his A game tomorrow. We will need him. I also hope we bring a little more aggressiveness at the plate. Tonight was about as ugly as I've ever seen it from a pitching standpoint. I know Clemson's back was against the wall, but ugh, I can't bear to think about it anymore. The best thing about tonight's game is it was not a heartbreaking loss. I would think it would be pretty easy to shake off a 19-5 loss and just chalk it up as "one of those games". We are not done, let's get to Omaha.

There's no one I'd want on the mound today more than Peanut. Dude is a competitor and is the heart and soul of this team. He helped spark our latest run and I'll think he'll pitch us into Omaha tomorrow.

Anybody heard who Clempsun is throwing tomorrow?

Damn, I got summer classes from 10-3 today. I guess I'll put up the game tracker on ESPN.com while I'm in one of my classes.

Will someone please call CMG & tell him to forget the sac bunts early in the game?

Obviously that's a feel thing. I am personally of the opinion that you take runs any way you can get them, especially with our current lineup, and even moreso if you have confidence in your pitcher. This is not the 97, 98, 99 Alabama mashers.

Of course, it would help to throw the ball somewhere other than belt-high down the middle too.

Hey I agree. If Wilson deadens that ball some in the first inning we would have had runners at 1st and 2nd and who knows what happens after that. Honestly though, Clemson was simply clicking on all cylinders yesterday, just goes to show you what a good team is capable of on any given day. While it is easy to fault Morgan, give them credit, they didn't miss any of those pitches and they kept hitting after Morgan left.
