Alabama Jersey Number Font

Does anyone have any idea what the name is for the number "Font" alabama uses on their jerseys and helmets?

If the font's not known or doesn't have a name, maybe there's a great opportunity to step in and bestow a more traditionally befitting font nomenclature, certainly for the 'Bama 'D' anyhow. Like the Woodshed Font (self-explanatory) or the Trucker Font (as in "Hey, did you get the tag number of...").

What we use looks similar to the "College" font. I am guessing we use the same on the helmets...though they may not be in bold like the jerseys.

I think it's called "Championship Trophy" ..... best used in 15 pt - and definitely "BOLD"

They are not the same font, but close: (Compare the 1, 2, and 4 from a jersey to the same numbers on the helmet)

The Jersey Numbers are "Varsity Block A" http://www.ffonts.net/Varsity-Block-A.font

The Helmet numbers are "3" full block" and can be ordered from Peake Athletic Decals in Huntsville, AL the same place that supplies them to the University.
