Alabama’s secondary is very good — in coverage and in trash talk
Members of Alabama's defensive secondary often play mind games with opponents. It is not the primary reason for the 11th-ranked Crimson Tide’s defensive success this season, but it is a neat wrinkle that opponents have to deal with.

I pointed this out because I've kinda said that this is good that they are more vocal on the field, and we need attitude on the team as long they channel it in a positive manner. But Saban does encourage his players to both have emotion and to play with emotion. He just asks that they channel that emotion into “tangible, functional execution” and not poor decisions.
“It’s great to have emotion and play with emotion. Everybody should have that,” Saban said earlier this season. “It needs to be very intentional. You have to focus on the task at hand. One play at a time.”
