Could they not have found another opponent? Nothing against Clemson, the venue, recruiting location, etc. They are a solid program and I have no animosity toward them. I’m just tired of seeing them on the other side. Surely they could have found a different solid program to play and would not be overly surprised if their fan base feels the same way...

Whatever group put on the event is responsible for finding the teams. We’ve played Clemson twice in my lifetime, and I think that was under CAG. Clemson is a potential NCAAT team, and on a neutral court, this could be a possible Quad 1 win for us. I don’t see the issue. It’s not like we are playing Clemson in football.

I am planning on being there. As a Hawks fan, I’m also really excited about playing in State Farm arena

I have been but when it was Philips Arena. I have not seen the renovation job they did when they got the new sponsor/name change.

Thats cool, its the same for me as well. I think the last time I've been was 2013-14? When it still was Phillips

Yes. One of my buddies has Hawks season tix. However, I haven’t been to a game since they renovated and sold the rights to State Farm. My best memory of Phillips Arena, is going to a game 7 playoff game vs the Heat and DWade (pre Lebron). I was on the 5th row, behind the goal.

I also got to see Shaq, Karl Malone, and Gary Payton play in Phillips.
