Alabama Vs. Florida Predictions!!!

Its funny how you guys say you lost confidence in the team and coaching staff but if they win you will jump back on the band wagon. I cant wait til Saturday at 6pm IF we win the game what some of you guys will be saying then.

I don't think that we will win, and it is not because I have lost faith in anyone. I simply think that we are outgunned. If we win, I will have been proven wrong and my opinion of our talent level will rise accordingly.

This has nothing to do with any "bandwagon". I am always on the Bama "bandwagon", if there is such a thing. But that doesn't mean that I think that we have the best team in the nation every year, or even every week...

Just wondering, if a Bama fan predicts we will lose by multiple touchdowns. And somehow we come out winning, or close to winning, what happens in the mind of these said fans?

Do they change course and start pulling for their own team?
Or does their faith in predicting the other team to win cancel out any new faith in Bama to win, causing them to become completely neutral and mindlessly stare at the screen, occassionaly muttering something about beer in the fridge?
 
I think this game will be simular to 1999 game when we used a ball control offense to eat up the clock. I remember the ole ball coach at half time saying it's hard to score if you don't have the ball. We lead the conferance in time of
possesion this year and I think we keep the ball away from them and score just
enough.

I'm not predicting anything other than this will not be a blowout.

I do know that it is the SEC and anything can happen on any day. There is no reason we can't beat them. They are on tape just like anyone else. The question is do we go there and play to win. If we do literally anything can happen. IMO, it is time to let this team win or lose on their merits. Stop handicapping them and expect more from them. And I hope to see many quick slants. It looked like we worked on that against the Hogs. Put the ball in KB's hands and let him go.
 
Wow after looking at this thread i am alittle suprised, 4 of 5 pick Florida. Im not giving up we shocked them last year and we can do it again!

If Coach Shula doesn't put the offense in neutral in the red-zone, we have a chance to win a squeaker. If he sticks to the old up the middle attack, we'll get hammered.
 
1st Quarter: Bama 7 UF 7
Both teams score on long drives. Defenses limit big plays.
Each team misses a FG.

Half: Bama 10 UF 13
Florida will hit a gimmick play (fake punt, reverse pass, etc) and set up a FG.
Darby gets a big gain on a screen or catch out of the backfield to set up a FG.
Florida adds FG to end the half.

3rd Quarter: Bama 17 UF 20
Tebow fumbles on 3rd and short in Bama territory.
Sets up PA pass to DJ Hall for TD.
Florida scores near the end of the quarter to regain the lead.

Final: Bama 24 UF 23
Florida adds a FG early in the quarter to go up 23-17.
Bama drives to field and scores TD with approx 5 minutes left.
Florida misses a FG as time expires!

I agree. It's very sexy to say that a team is going to score 49 points and blah, blah, blah - but this is the SEC. More often than not, it will be a low-scoring defensive struggle. JMHO... Bama shocks the world and some of it's fans -

Florida- 20

Florida is ahead 20-14 late in 4th and Bama scores the TD and Florida misses a 50+ yard FG as time expires.

4 Things happen:
-Darby gets his 100 yard game and his first TD
-We see JJ line up at QB multiple times...and he completes a pass for a big gain
-People no longer call for Shula's head
-Kines doesnt let Tebow do squat

Wow I hope Im right
 
my prediction is that JPW will spend most of the game running for his life.

CMS will run Darby up the middle at least 15 times... half of which should be back to back.

Jimmy Johns will have 2 carries for 30 yards.

We'll run the toss sweep once for 6 yards.

We'll have 5 drives of 80 yards a piece and kneel on one entire set of downs to prepare for the field goal on each drive.

Bama keeps it close until the last 3 quarters.
