Alabama Vs. Florida Predictions!!!

Last week I said I wouldn't be surprised if Bama beat Ark. 27-10 and/or vice versa.

I'll stick to that again for this week. I'd like to see where our players' minds our at on Thursday. If they truly put last week behind them (which I think is easier than trying to put last year's LSU loss to bed) then they have a chance.

With any luck, UF will be so consumed with revenge, they'll lose focus. A quick strike by Bama and we'll have us a ballgame. :cool:
 
Florida has been successful this season against inferior opponents. Bama must make them work for points by having a good special teams game and keeping them from too many 20+ yard plays.

Wilson must keep from making mistakes, keep the chains going, and show that he is a legitimate challenge to be the number 1 QB in the SEC. We must allow Brown, Hall, and hopefully Coffee to help lead our offense against their home state.

We're up against the best offense in the SEC and the 2nd best D in the SEC, so the logical guess for a Bama team that has shown an affinity for shooting itself would be something like a 27-20 loss.

I can't bear to predict a Bama loss though, and I really do think that if we come in looking to prove last week a fluke, we can win. So my hopeful prediction: 20-17 Bama.

Thats what I have been saying....... Joe Kines' defense has not given up 30 points since 2003 when we lost in the last game of the season if im not mistaken. Our receivers match up very well with their DB's in this game there have been Florida fans that have told me that they think we will eat there secondary alive and that JPW from what they have seen is more dangerous than Eric Ainge against their defense. Im just ready for 2:30 Saturday I just know Coach Shula has a game plan ready for these guys.
 
Running game gets going. Bama wins a close one with a last minute 20 yd TD. Coach Shula is flamed by Florida fans for showing a lack of respect because he takes starters out in 1st Qtr and for running the score up by passing instead of kicking. Roll Tide

The 2003 defense was horrible, but the two since have been very solid, and this year's looks pretty good, too...
