– Alabama's Justin Lebron and Carson Ozmer were selected to a pair of respective College Baseball Foundation Watch Lists, the organization announced Friday.

Lebron is one of 100 shortstops on the watch list for the Brooks Wallace Award, a distinction that honors the nation's top shortstop and will be presented by the CBF later this year. It is named for former Texas Tech shortstop Brooks Wallace, who played for the Red Raiders from 1977 to 1980. Wallace died of leukemia at the age of 27.

Ozmer is one of 54 hurlers to appear on the watch list for Pitcher of the Year, an award that will be presented later this year by the CBF. The pitchers on the watch list represent 20 different conferences and reflect the top mound performers to this point of the 2025 season.

  • A dynamic five-tool player who serves as Alabama's everyday shortstop
  • Started all 39 games for the Crimson Tide, batting .325 (51-for-157) with 12 doubles, one triple and 15 home runs
  • Also tied for the national lead with 58 RBI while adding 21 walks and nine stolen bases across 10 attempts during his second season in Tuscaloosa
  • Produced 15 multi-RBI games, including five games of five-plus RBI
  • His 15 home runs are tied for second-most in the SEC and are tied for seventh in Division I
  • The Florida native's 110 total bases are tied for 19th in the country and second among SEC players

Pitcher of the Year Watch List

  • A dependable reliever who operates as the closer for the Crimson Tide
  • Appeared in a team-high 19 games, converting 12 saves
  • His 12 saves are tied for the most in Division I and are tops in the SEC, placing him in a five-way tie for third-most in program history
  • Owns a team-best 1.12 ERA (3 ER/24.0 IP), having produced 16 scoreless appearances
  • Responsible for a minuscule .159 opponent batting average (13-for-82)
  • Contributed 28 strikeouts in 24.0 IP, equating to a 10.5 strikeouts per nine innings mark
